@DW2 Not only the article openly gaslights whites by arguing for Hannah Arendt's and George Mosse's canard that fascism appeared in "insecure societies" under the threat of atomization (which is of course contrasted with progressive societies, implicitly portrayed as stronger by propaganda), not only it lies by blaming social atomization completely on neoliberal capitalism excluding the central role of the socially progressive left, not only the article still finds a way to put non-whites at the center of the discussion as if caring for them was more important, but it's proposed solution is merely to control white men further using even more entrenched bureaucracy. It ticks every single box for progressive dishonesty. -

@WashedOutGundamPilot The modern day progressive cultural hegemony is unable to produce any art (in the proper sense) at all, only "art for the sake of art" which exists merely to be consumed, to launder money or to spread the same message of total human equality and exchangeability dressed in pseudo-revolutionary, religious or humanistic aesthetics which in turns reinforces the hegemony. Being an artist in our era is implicitly dissident. -

Most leftists in general (and not only BreadTube, but also the anti-IdPol left) use their (vague) economic stances and a even vaguer working class socialist regime aesthetic merely as a motte and bailey for socially progressive positions and decidedly Atlanticist geopolitical stances (even if they hide it under the guise of "neutrality" and "not taking sides"), and in particular the BreadTube left is strongly aligned with our modern Atlanticist biosecurity state:

@turncoattradition @Terry Martinez Perspective reminds me a lot of Marxists claiming that fascism was merely a "reaction to communism" or a "state monopoly capitalism" with the only difference that he found it amazing as a concept. Fascism was never anti-communist in the same way conservatives or liberals are or capitalist economically, fact is that Fascist Italy's final economic goal was the collectivization of it's own means of production (even if of course this was a market socialism based on indicative rather than imperative planning and economic substrata such as small farmers, artisans and small-medium enterprises were protected), and furthermore, the same plans for a non-Bolshevik socialism were present in every form of fascism including the Hitlerite wing of National Socialism (according to Karlheinz Weissmann).
Martinez on the other hand is perfectly free to bring back the alt-right if he wishes, he's not a fascist himself regardless. -

@Robert_Edwardly @turncoattradition @Terry A lot of American right-wingers are dissatisfied by their political and social environment, and so they latch to a controversial ideology such as fascism to turn it into their brand of race-based "national"-conservatism which considers free healthcare to be the apex of social policy and race to be the only factor in history as if the National Socialists asserted that, a Christian "third way" raceless corporatism which "mediates between the classes" ignoring that it was purely a transitional stage in Italy's history and as it is ultimately sustainable in the long run or a confused Bolshevism, as if fascists were not critical of the Soviet Union's massacres and horrifically mismanaged developmental model. I stress the "fascism was a socialism" to keep the first two types out, mostly. -
