And lo and behold, #Twitch is magically working again with browsers with various privacy plugins on computers on VPNs. No browser or system setup changes have occurred in the meantime.

It was this company's decision to give the users false error messages that their browser was "unsuported", even on supported browsers, for four months, telling them to disable EVERYTHING the protected their privacy and system security to try to login to their website.

Supposedly the leadership (or whatever passes for such at that company) decided to block logins on any browser or unit that had a smidgeon of privacy protection, to deter "hate raids" (or whatever the bogeyman of the month is).

Do not forget that :

1) More or less every company today are engaging in or assisting in data collection on its userbase. This of course includes Twitch.
2) Twitch is owned by #Amazon.

I'm a rather large blobby and cuddly frog that has recently moved into blob.cat. 🐸😅But really.. I'm a Danish guy in my 40s. I'm a geek, a techie, and in the past I was an aspiring scientist in the field of astronomy.
