@Varus @coolboymew Yeah, you see those in downtown cores all the time. This is not expected to be where anyone will "build their life", it's more of an owned, long term hotel room (with less services). Location is 95% of what you're paying for and it being small is an asset for some of the use cases (easy to keep clean).
It's for people who need a few months to a year in a city and don't mind spartan living. For the guy who works hours away from home during the week and only goes back to his family house on the weekends. For the company who has employees fly out to a city all the time...
In academic neighborhoods, they're for the wealthy (but not THAT wealthy) student willing to pay to avoid shared accomodations but won't spend too much time home anyway.
