For Halloween movie night, I'm gonna show a bunch of George Romero movies. Not really a full marathon but most of the good ones. I have:
Night of the Living Dead (1968)
The Crazies (1973)
Martin (1977)
Dawn of the Dead (1978)
Creepshow (1982)
Day of the Dead (1985)
Land of the Dead (2005)
Diary of the Dead (2007)
Survival of the Dead (2009)
It's around 15 hours of movies. If I start at around 2pm Central time, it'll end at 4am. People in Europe can catch the early stuff, while Asia time zones can catch the trash at the end. Dawn and Creepshow and Day being in the middle will be good for American time zones.

very cool that the most popular Dawn of the Dead torrent is some jank ass fan edit that extends the movie another half hour and all english subs are timed to official releases but there are non-english subs for this fan edit for some reason

It was really disappointing how Remedy made a neat and unique story+world with Control and then turned it into an imaginary made-up spinoff of Alan Wake.
And the payoff to that (the new game Alan Wake 2) is an obtuse exposition heavy moviegame that just kinda retreads RE2 remake for the few moments it lets you play. Like, the original Alan Wake's story wasn't THAT interesting. They had to ruin an actually interesting game world just to tie in with a game thats 90% walking forward while exposition plays.

The idea of current Remedy making a Max Payne remake is sickening.
Imagine 20 minutes of cryptic meaningless monologue while walking down a hallway at 26fps (on an RTX 5090ti at 1080p medium settings) followed by shooting 3 people just standing unreactive to your movements, before watching another 20 minutes of cutscene.
Insert a playable music number (one entire Old Gods of Asstard song, featuring 3 separate 4 minute guitar solos) and youve got yourself a $59.99 AAA masterpiece (on 30% discount 1 month after release (on game pass 2 months after release (distributed for free with a purchase of a hamburger 4 months after release)))
