btw on the last day of the steam sale i got these 2 games as well (this is relevant because i want to post about them :D)

ok so since i was such a fan of "birth" i really wanted to play the predecessor "landlord of the woods". i played it in one go, again. it's not optimized for steam deck and it's not as polished as its successor, but it was funny & cute and worth playing. really looking forward to more games by madison karrh 🥰

playing fallout 4 on my deck 🥵☢️

this is so much fun! for some reason, i sometimes think of bioshock. i guess the sound design is a bit similar? and the 1950's imagery, of course. one of the very few 3d games that doesn't give me motion sickness 🥲💜

ok, this is my final cart :3 i'm already curious which one of these games i'll play first, heh heh

so yesterday i started right at the beginning -- with "birth" -- and played it in one go. such a beautiful, wholesome, weird, morbid and cute hidden object/puzzle game 🥰

from time to time, i think of "station eleven" (the series) 🥲 must rewatch at some point. solarpunk has something soothing in a way 🌱

wish there would be more solarpunk games, book, comics, tv series, media in general. maybe one of our next games (@owlycrow) should be in this genre @nursey 👀

honestly, the written word was/is the best invention i can imagine

i wonder if there are any cool vampire-themed narrative (!) games out there that i haven't played yet. 🧛

looks like most of those games were developed in the ps2/gamecube era. so vampires have been out of fashion for 20 years. now that it's been 2 decades, there's a possibility of a revival, i'd say 👀

i've also been waiting for new content revolving around the paranormal/supernatural 👽 so far i've only encountered the y2k fashion revival, but not much more in terms of entertainment 🥲
