I am very much drawn to languages that have minimal structure

Things like C, Perl, Forth, Shell, JavaScript, etc. are all way more fun to me because it feels like they let me write programs in a unique and playful way, as opposed to the rigidity that I feel when writing in Python or Go.

Found a cool new casted pod called "Software Unscripted" with weekly episodes interviewing cool people involved in software who also happen to have cool opinions.

It seems they don't have a website even though they post on all the platforms where you can otherwise get podcasts :/

Oooh, you _can_ still enable compact density in firefox by going to about:config, searching for browser.compactmode.show, setting that to true, and choosing compact in the density setting.

Useful on this tiny 1280x800 display.

I've been tempted to get some kind of tablet for easier and more comfortable reading of long-form online content. Plus it's pretty nice for digital highlighting.

Unless I sign up for Pocket or something, using my e-reader for that kind of content is awkward because syncing items to it is awkward.

Anyways, I might just print out a lot of long-form stuff I'll find valuable to have.

When will we have the tech that lets you embed moving pictures on paper. That would be pretty useful y'know, instead of like idk bitcoin or whatever :flan_disappointed:

I wish computer monitors were available at 4K resolutions in smaller sizes. Apparently once they were but not anymore. It would be nice to have a HiDPI display that didn't dominate a desk.

I wish the PC industry actually cared about the quality of the experience rather than just "big number gooder."

I'm loving the number of personal website's I'm coming across that I'm able to access over plain ol' HTTP.
