Background:

A while ago I used Arch Linux with i3 for a few years, but in the end, it was a bit too fiddly for me personally. So I switched to Windows 10 (my first Windows in many years). I really enjoy using it to this day, but with Microsoft mindlessly integrating LLMs into everything, I feel I should already think about my escape plan. 😅

I am mentally preparing to switch back to Linux some time next year, when support for Windows 10 runs out.

To ease myself into it, I will try out Linux Mint (in both the Xfce & Cinnamon flavor) in VirtualBox over the next couple of weeks, and see if I can make it work for me! 🙂
