On this #TransDayOfVisibility, I checked out my child's camp guide. It says "[Camp] welcomes those who live and identify as female regardless of the gender assigned to them at birth and those assigned female at birth who identify as non-binary or gender non-conforming".
Does your kid's camp welcome trans children? If not, speak up and ask them to add to their guides. You don't have to be a parent of a transgender child to speak up.
