    I’m working right now but I can look up corporate reports - large corporations pay for most of the US tax revenue.

    Plus, it’s like 40 some percentage of the population receives assistance in some form

    the 1% are paid in mostly stock options.

    which aren’t taxed until they are cashed out, most high net worth individuals don’t cash out.

    so when you say “tax the 1%” they mostly don’t have income. which is why they pay less.

    they pay the same as everyone else on the income they do take however.

    just because someone is worth a billion dollars doesn’t mean the have a taxable income on a billion dollars.

    Texas literally signed a petition to kick kamala's border bullshit out of their state in direct defiance of federal law.

    Actually I can name a few things dems have done which have made my life worse.

    1. Added 40k jobs to the irs and started auditing the middle class (used to not get audited unless you made over 250k and now the averaged audited person makes like 65)
    2. Fucked the commercial real estate market. Arm loans with highly variable interest are common now plus, as a building owner, you must pay the bank the full yearly loan amount before you can take any profit - so they’ve straddled all but large corporate real estate companies.
    3. Continued sending money to overseas countrys while continuing to just give aid to lower class citizen and immigrants while taxing the middle class to pay for it. In fact, in my state, now all new construction MUST contain 20% affordable housing.

    Now this may sound great, and good for the housing assistance, but when you actually live in the buildings and people are shitting in the hallways it comes off a bit different.
