hey there people who make electronic music: which midi controllers do you use? preferably midi over USB capable. if it includes a sequencer, that's nice but not necessary.
boosts would be nice :)
some context: I'm playing around with VCV Rack at the moment, running on linux. I'd like to keep my whole setup independent of proprietary software, but as long as everything works with midi standards, it would be okay to have some proprietary stuff that I then just won't use.
