@matrix @jeffcliff So whatever's ingesting them, you know, normally, is probably hitting the same bug I just did.

@matrix @jeffcliff It seems to be sending reblogs to the public stream, which (just the one I tried) mastodon.social does not.

So we'll just detect that and import the boosted status I guess.

Thank fuck you found the server doing it, if so. I *think* it's an issue with mastodon.py and Requests; If one server can lock an entire thread, that's a DoS vuln.

@jeffcliff This is caused by reblogs, which is odd because other instances haven't had this issue. Maybe it's something to do with quote boosts?

@matrix have you modified mastodon't in any meaningful way?
