@MnemosyneSinger @foone I chose the third option on my employment forms because why would I give away data to 3rd party HR platforms and it turned into a bit of a thing because I guess it broke their systems a bit.

@aral Trying to understand the p2p chat example… So each user would need to run their own server to communicate? Can you give a concrete example of where this would be more practical than more typical many clients one host scenario? Is it tied to the planned Domain project?

This random comment has given me my new favourite argument for removing fares from public transit.

The thing that drives me nutso about climate change is that many of the necessary changes could be awesome. A society with more leisure time, cleaner air, closer connections to friends and family who live nearer to you, more exercise, more technological innovation, more jobs, more fairness, more nature… most people would benefit from these changes.
