    @menherahair @mint I had the fun of implementing RTMP server before webrtc became a thing and flash was the way to go for streaming. There is official semi-public adobe documentation that does two things: demands you comply to the spec and tells you handshake C1/C2/S1/S2 packets contents should be random. In reality, the random bytes are used for simple DH key exchange with keys hidden in random data on calculated offsets, making any FOSS implementation following the publicized spec incapable of communicating with commercial counterparts, including the flash plugin. But luckily, it was reversed, so actual implementation examples also exist.

    @menherahair @mint You really should link the page you are referring to, screenshots are just a waste of time when not used for purely illustrative purposes. Gitalb already had issues with generating correct fingerprints on /help/instance_configuration page and there were attempts of fixing in 11.x, but it still reproduces, on 15.4, 15.8 and gitlab.com itself as well. Simply ignore whatever glorified shellscript tells you with markup runes, trust proper C implementation of ssh-keyscan/ssh-keygen.

    @menherahair @renai Both game and PV above are of very high quality production, but vthots as a theme are just shattering it as much as soyjacks would. Gestalt internet constructs were never supposed to be given fleshy appendages, much less be the driver for some egotistic females, the notion is very disappointing and present would certainly benefited from not having as much cancer of so many variants.

    @menherahair @renai I don't watch streamers, and the only reason I abhore vthots more is for them being suits specifically designed to allow vanity/profit seeking fleshbags to intrude into previously pure space, entirely dependent on charisma of a wearer, or worse - some parasocial illusions, rather than character itself being interesting enough to be sustained.

    @menherahair HTML is generated by nginx xslt index, so it is low on resources, and there is no such thing as rudeness with public resources, you can do as many requests as rate limits permit, simple as. Parsing JSON however is often easier, at least outside of shellscripts, and some caching may imporve user experience too. Also interestingly endpoint @mint suggested is not returning identical format, including url and static_url at the same time, but those seem to be equal.
