You can find settings for them on the web client, under the settings gear on the right, click the hamburger menu at the top-right, and go to Preferences > Notifications in case something there helps. :blobcat:

I’ll keep the pastebin list updated as more of these troublesome instances pop up. If you ever want to update your own blocklist based on this, just follow these steps again to merge it in.

Also, feel free to message me if you see any of these kind of instances, especially if they’re harassing people here, and I’ll add it to the list.

Here’s how to import the blocklist:

1. Visit the following link and click the download button, then remove the .txt extension from the downloaded file so you’re left with “blocked_domains.csv” as the filename: https://pastebin.com/LyxcejSu

2. On the Baraag site, choose the gear icon on the right for settings, then navigate to Import & Export > Import.

3. For Import Type choose “Domain blocking list”, select the blocked_domains.csv file, and make sure Merge is selected before hitting Upload.

I’ve been seeing a lot more people posting about having jerks from Nazi, fascist, and general troll-y instances attacking them the last few weeks. I’ve been offering my domain blocklist to people I follow complaining about getting attacks from there, but since it seems to be becoming a bigger problem, I thought I’d post it publicly and make it more accessible to anyone who would like to use it.
