@aral I asked several #Mozilla VPs over the years to just show me (if not publish) the contract that linked them to #Google (i think GGL money has been *billions* in Moz' finance).

Always had the same answer: "oh i don't know. / it's not me / i haven't even seen it". Pathetic and quite miserable. 😳

We left to speculate why GGL has a financial interest in Moz to exist: "feeling lucky" in the URL bar? GGL as default engine? phoning home? not blocking ads by default?

No way to trust Moz. :(

On this snapshot of undebatable rarity (ca. 1924), #JoanMastodon is seen manually moderating the local timeline of the first test instance, plucking white-supremacist content with her bare hands.

Further elements of her long-lost biography depict the untolerable suffering #JoanMastodon endured, as the poison insidiously made its way through her body, due to prolonged exposure. (Since then, mandatory use of gloves and goggles has been mandated for all moderation-workers handling such content)

This rare picture captures a nonetheless rare moment in the history of the #Fediverse (ca. 1958): the federation of several instances at the same time (the 4th, 5th and 6th).

#JohnMastodon is seen at the center, holding the federation register, listing the wiring schematics. His second-in-command, #JosephFunkwhale is taking notes before entering the #Fediverse chamber to manually patch the federation cables.
