@Zerglingman This one has about 170 lines. I'd accept it, but this seems to have specific directory makes that I'd have to work into yours, so it's probably better if I just tweak it as-is. Just wanted to see if there was something else that might be amiss. Thanks for the help. ^_^
@Zerglingman Important to note that I have never written a shell script before. I could try cutting out some middlemen functions, but I'd rather deal with a problem I know how to fix, if there is one.
Ok new question. I'm running a shell script provided by my web host that asks for input, but the problem is that it buffers and doesn't accept my input, nor does it print the question, and it does this right before it's supposed to ask.
I had to look into the script itself to figure this out.
echo echo "To use Let's Encrypt you must agree to their Subscriber Agreement," echo "which is linked from:" echo echo " https://letsencrypt.org/repository/" echo echo -n "Do you accept the Let's Encrypt Subscriber Agreement (y/n)? " read yes case $yes in y|Y|yes|YES|Yes|yup) break 2 ;; *) echo "OK, tls-setup.sh will be aborted." return 30 esac
My first assumption is that something is wrong with the settings in my WinSCP. They also said if I run a custom daemon, which I do, it might not work.
@Zerglingman You're the only person that might care to do so because everybody else here hates baest. I do have a baest account but it's for other stuff.
@lustlion I am utterly unaware of the differences in the use of the English language in different countries, to the point that I didn't know such differences existed.
I am aware that American, British, and Australian English exist, as well as those of the Spanish dialects across Latin and South America and Spain, but I didn't know that there were different dialects of languages across countries where that language is not the main language. Or at least, I assume it isn't.
@hermit I think what they're trying to say is that the AI doesn't know what those words mean. It's basically that Chinese Dictionary thing about a person typing answers to received questions in Chinese from a book of cheat sheets. They have no fucking clue what they're typing but the person asking questions is convinced they do.
The only way to be sure is to test the bot's originality. Find a way to ask it to describe a scene that isn't plagiarized from anything on the web. See if it has an imagination. Can it dream?
