15 April 1913 | An Italian Jewish woman, Lea Veneziani, was born in Rome.

She was deported to Auschwitz from Rome on 18 October 1943. She did not survive.

29 January 1943 | The RSHA ordered the deportation of all Roma people from Germany and German-occupied territories to Auschwitz. At least 23,000 Sinti & Roma were later deported there. Most were murdered.
