@Rasterman @ChristiJunior Mario also had heavier punishments for error: you get hit, you lose a power making the game much harder, or you become a manlet (game over in a way), and if you get hit again without finding another power-up, you're dead
if Sonic gets hit all he has to do is grab one ring and he's fine. As a kid I'd walk across spikes as Sonic, getting damaged over and over again, but never failing due to a single ring. -

It takes effort, you have to pay attention and avoid gay outcomes, because so many speech choices are you hitting on other characters. If you fully explore your speech options you're an instant slut. -

I could go the rest of my life without ever playing Baldur's Gate 3, and also without ever running out of enjoyable games to play. Synthetic's a games youtuber so he feels compelled to play the current thing, but I'm not and don't feel that way. Any time I want I can pull out Ultima V and start mapping out the underworld again, or Ultima VI and try to beat the game again as a literal mouse. -

@augustus the only way to save Democracy is to cancel elections in the US so that we can retain the political stability to restart the draft and fully commit to defending Ukraine where elections are also cancelled.
