ScienceCommunicator (sciencecommunicator@mastodon.social)'s status on Tuesday, 08-Oct-2024 16:54:15 JST ScienceCommunicator "Capitalism" is no more the fundamental problem than are religions. For example, a religion could be founded on the idea that #God was a pacifist, but, the folk that harbour violent attitudes wouldn't (want to) believe in that God.
#Capitalism is *only* an economic model (nothing more). That model can be 'tweaked" to serve the majority, or for example, a minority of billionaire capitalists. If the model is tweaked towards social welfare, it looks more like #socialism
