I will say this about Mastodon. More than any other platform, I see ordinary people (not famous) posting original content. Their own thoughts, writing, stories, and art.
It’s not perfect, but it’s better than anything else. Like democracy.

Style is important but it’s subjective and a matter of taste. Unique, fresh, interesting ideas, on the other hand, are always fascinating. I contend that good writing is always about new ideas presented well.
