@aral I can maybe concede that the one ux person they have in their entire organisation is just rushing out stuff for the sake of making rent, but given the “having Nazi tattoos doesn’t make you a Nazi” discourse by the boss man.. it seems it’s in line with turning twitter into parler/gab/truth.

I see twitter has decided to outsource fact checking to their users.
In the example below an article by glaad has been flagged as potentially untrue, citing the “lack of clinical consensus and high quality evidence” around puberty blockers and hormone treatments has been added as the note.

While evidence is pretty overwhelmingly clear on this, I’m looking at the #design. And how it contributes to trust vs #disinformation

@aral ooh apple is a good example, because they have an ethics clause for their logo in fictional characters on tv. Only clearly good characters can use iPhones on tv and in movies.
