This Monerokon offering at Paralelní Polis is part of that broad, decentralized ecosystem.

MoneroKon is oragnized by a Czech-based non-profit association and they're independent of core, MRL, Monero Fund, and other entities.

There are many ways to participate, I have previously laid out but a few. An individual should be guided by their own privacy model.

@silverpill The brunt is of the hackathon is taking place IRL, so people will simply need to register and be present to participate. There is no need to be involved in Discord, Twitter, etc.

There are many avenues to participating in improving Monero, so while this option might not suite everyone it is still a valid for some.

A anon user can participate in Monero R&D or hacking through other outlets such as the Community Crowdfunding System or https://bounties.monero.social

Do note this is an IRL hackathon at Paralelni Polis in Prague, so while many Monero researchers, devs, and hackers will be present at MoneroKon I understand that it might not be the ideal venue for everyone.

That said, the Monero project has a history of funding quality work from anonymous researchers and developers.
