@mntmn Now my "big" MNT Reform 2 runs the RCORE CPU! Many thanks. So far so good. Except the suspend (I used v3 image with the original CPU before where it worked well) the only regression is non-working battery indicator (no "battery" nor "upower" settings work). But IT IS SO FAST! Also like the copper heatsink 🙂
@mntmn Just installed the AsiaRF WiFi on the Pocket Reform. It is much better than the build-in WiFi chip (so far no issues where the Pocked previously had no connection)! Thanks so much!
@mntmn Another train trip with the Pocket Reform. The new WiFi card is yet to be installed so I worked off-line for most of the time (was able install a few Debian packages via the WiFi anyway).
@mntmn Finally in action (on the road :-) )!
@mntmn Now :-)
Only must find a proper USB-C adapter - the Reform refuses to charge from smaller ones (of course). The battery has only 16% when arrived. So, postponed to tomorrow (when the new adapter will arrive).
@mntmn Still not so far (no unboxing, yet) but something just arrived! 🙂
@mntmn Just got a notofocation that my Pocket Reform was shippped! Thanks so much!
@mntmn Thank you! Mine is non-hyper 🙂
@mntmn Will you have any updates for the Pocket Reform, please? Is still the start of shipping at the end of February feasible?
@mntmn But why is the picture marked as "sensitive"?
@mntmn Now using my MNT Reform 2 to finishing a small item requested my wife - a missing part of a handle ;-)

@mntmn My MNT Reform 2 used for actual work in a train, finally!
WiFi worked well (when it was available at all) and the keyboard (and trackball, too!) is really the game changer. I used to use a smaller (8") linux device but it was much harder to use in trains. On the Reform I am actually able to work.
Picture made with a film camera so sorry for its quality.
@mntmn Some nice presents arrived today! (now I am looking forward to get the actual device in early 2024...)
@mntmn Congratulations for raising 200% for the MNT Pocket! ($270,003 just now)
@mntmn Nice reading! What NetworkManager applet do you use on the screenshot (in the update)?
@mntmn I think this is a very good value if the RAM is 8 GB.
@mntmn MEM 8% for OS + Wayland + Emacs ... not bad at all!
@mntmn Just have became a supporter 😉
@mntmn Will the Pocket Reform able to use the old CPU board from the big Reform 2?
I understand that it will mean a loss of an internal WiFi in any case but will the CPU work at all? (and how about the HDMI output?)
