Personally, I think anyone who is not going out to vote Trump has some sort of mental confusion about the issue.
Harris = permanent diversity socialism. Trump means an alternative and a chance to make government functional.

She's Jewish ethnically. She's just defending her people.

"Shut it down."

Funny because Hitler hated tobacco
-
@william @HebrideanHecate
Exactly, and therefore everyone is represented.
-
@william @HebrideanHecate
Same percentage as for anyone else.
It's fair because it is the cost of participating in society.
-
@william @HebrideanHecate
No one can afford to lose anything, that's the point. This way, people stop voting for free stuff paid for by others.

@william @HebrideanHecate
Absolutely it does. Everyone throws in the same percentage. They can plan for it and know they will have to pay that money. They will adjust their rates accordingly.
-
@william @HebrideanHecate
Even more, most of these public services are astoundingly expensive and low quality.

Demand-based economics hold that more demand for the money increases its value.
That tends however to cause a boom-bust cycle like the one we are in now.
Supply-side economics say that you increase the value of what BACKS the currency, and things get better.
It's more like the gold standard than Modern Monetary Theory (#MMT) which is basically Keynesian acrobatics.

@noondlyt @dannotdaniel
And the solution is voting for Communism
-
@dcc @blockbot
I think I upset the mentally unstable.
Good; they need to go to some other society and ruin that, not mine.
-
@HebrideanHecate
This is why we need a flat tax.
-
@william @HebrideanHecate
Everyone pays the same percentage.
-
@william @HebrideanHecate
It doesn't matter.
The point is no one votes to use the money of others.
Let's say 10% for starters. This means full participation by voters.
-
@william @HebrideanHecate
No, I think that's a mistaken apprehension.
Everyone loses 10% to the tax, and plans for this expense.
No one votes on how to spend Other People's Money (#OPM).
-
@KuteboiCoder @sun @lanodan @icedquinn
I disagree; demand-based systems like that force the monetization of EVERYTHING.
-
@KuteboiCoder @sun @lanodan @icedquinn
Libertarians are right about how economics works.
But society needs more than just an economic system; it also needs leadership, legal, political, social, and cultural systems.
-
@KuteboiCoder @sun @lanodan @icedquinn
And thus tariffs were born
