In 2022, Tom Lehrer released all his songs, lyrics and works to the public domain, an amazing move. While checking on the site, I found out he silently released more material in September of 2023 - a DAT tape of his work with an orchestra and some solo piano takes that are not elsewhere. If you're a Lehrer fan, quite a surprise.

Doing a little pamphlet sorting on the uploads of the Archive so they go to proper collections and as usual, pamphlets are an endless font of fascinating eye-grabbing titles.

A silly milestone we passed sometime this year: The Internet Archive now emulates (to various degrees, of course), over 250,000 pieces of software, hardware, and electronics, thanks to the effort of a dozen emulation projects and all of them running in the browser. Live again, ancient software!

Thanks to efforts by volunteers Nosamu and bai0, the Internet Archive's flash emulation just jumped generations ahead.

Mute/Unmute works. The screen resizes based on the actual animation's information. And for a certain group who will flip their lid:
