When I transitioned, there was a drastic change in how coworkers treated my opinions and experience. This was at the middle-end of a successful career change into software engineering; a field well-known for correlating with impostor syndrome. I'd grown from being a tech leader in a systems engineering team to being a tech leader in a string of (very junior!) software engineering teams, and my impostor syndrome was constant.
