I really want Kanye to run on the Democratic ticket (he's a democrat: racist, talks about "his truth," has a dead name) and I want the dems to fuck up so bad that he ends up winning the primary .. I want Kayne vs Trump 2024 :agummypopcorn: ... either choice is terrible and literally better than what we have right now
Do we not? PS5 and the new exBox typically run all games at the "medium" PC settings. I just started Ratchet & Clank on the PS5 and it does 4k/30, with a 4k/60 option sacrificing quality .. both have a 120Hz vsync option for TVs that support it ... I'd imagine it should do 1080p/60 easily.
It just looks so bad ... like all the previews/demos just had the worst dialogue. .. With games like God-o-War Ragnarök and Ghosts of Tsushima and even Cyberpunk 2077 (game engine was dog shit, but acting/art was top notch) ... the expectations for video game dialog have gone way up. Only Nintendo can get away with Fire Emblem style scripts.
Forwoken doesn't seem bad conceptually, but it sounds like the execution is pretty much what everyone expected.
The right time was a long time ago. Although FuckFuckGo is turning to shit too with a lot of the same garbage results. It's best to use the condoms: Whoogle, Searx for search and FreeTube, NewPipe or Invidious for the YouBoob ... really for the tubes if the people I like are on Odysee or Rumble, I find them on there instead.
real laser printers are totally worth it. I found an HP LaserJet 200 Color years ago on Craigslist in Chicago; law office going out of business/closing down. I got it for $100, including half full toner. I don't print all that much (it was like 3 years before I replaced the toner) but I know it's not a piece of shit desk/ink jet that's designed to break in 3 years.
When he was on Viva/Barnes, he made a very wise statement about how he did take the jab, but no one really knew or could know what the right decision was … something of that nature – essentially admitting he could be wrong but being okay with that.
But then a while later he went off on that crazy rant on one of his viewer’s comments (I think he called her a “Cunt” … and honestly he may have just made up the comment) .. and more recently even Barnes said on the Viva/Barns podcast about how he likes Scott, mentioned how Scott had been on the show, but also talked about how he was going off the rails; pretending he always supported x when he didn’t.
I dunno. I never liked his coffee time show (I don’t like talking heads in general … like the American Vagabond guy is interesting, but I hate listening to his podcast cause it’s just him talking for an hour .. that’s just annoying … same with Carl/Sargon of Akkad way back before he did Lotus Eaters .. having a co-host guest is always better) … and more and more I just dislike some of the amplified rants and triads. I still like the Dilbert toons, but I could give a shit about Adam’s personal views … they’re not well thought out to me and irrelevant.
A No Agenda podcaster defending Scott Adams? :agummythink: .. interesting.
It's bad to put anyone on a pedestal. There are things I don't agree with when I listen to John and Adam (and I'm an NA Knight), but I still respect them and learn a lot.
I think there has been a lot of good stuff from Scott Adams, but man he really has been an insufferable asshole for ~2 years or so.
I think it's really healthy and good to always accept criticisms of your heroes, and to not condemn even people you like because of some views you don't agree with. But you still need to be critical. (For example, I typically like Peterson, but he [totally fucked up on his Net-and-Yahoo interview](https://battlepenguin.com/politics/kanye-is-the-ideal-democrat-candidate/#the-net-and-yoo-hoo), and I don't agree with some of his moral idealism, but I also don't hate him just cause he sides with Zionism and the Daily Wire).
People view attacks on those they idolize as attacks on themselves. People need to argue their own ideas, and not just defend a person because of who they are.
I remember on the NA show, a few months back John said he was going to guess the jabs kill 1~2%. A good friend of mine who was the managing editor for a few regional magazines/papers also told me the jabs have killed more than CoV2.
I personally think it's 2~4%. I do hate that there were some voices going on how it was going to be massive (implying like a 10%+ cataclysm) a year or two back.
That being said ... it is interesting we are seeing people drop dead looong after their shots. Lisa Maria Presley was like >6 months after she broadcast on social media about how she got a booster and everyone should get one or something. In her 50s and not overweight .... I agree with Naomi Wolf and her "witnessing a genocide" article, although I think it's a slow one.
It's long a long tail that it's going to be difficult to prove causation. In any other sane decade, all of these drugs would have been pulled in the first two months. I think at this point, when countries start pulling them (and I really hope they do before 2024), you are going to see the most insane backlash of people claiming they are taking life saving/critical drugs off the market and removing peoples' personal choice to keep taking them. Yes, that's how insane our world as become.
Yea, I agree it doesn't matter where it came from. It's effects were exaggerated, and every single thing that was done (lockdowns, cramming old people together, experimental drugs, overuse of ventilators, constant inaccurate PCR testing, not treating patients, anti-Ivremectin-ism) made the situation substantially worse in every possible way.
It's not even about Trump a this point. He was a pawn. People like Fauci, higher ups at the CDC, WHO and Pfizer all need to face a trial, following by a firing squad.
The world is a lot more connected now. The USSR had their own computer architectures, their own (very brief and unsuccessful) space shuttle program. Today all the designers for the two most used architectures (x86/arm) in computing live in pretty discrete areas. The actual chips are often produced in overseas factories (although Intel/TSMC are working to add domestic US capacity). Japan and Korea might be able to pick up a lot of slack, adding domestically the gaps they lose internationally, but much of the rest of the world is highly dependent on global systems of trade to keep their infrastructure running. It won't be like when the USSR fell due to the crazy interdependence the world has now. Ironically, the sanctioned countries like Cuba and Russia might be in the best shape since this position requires more independence.
Isn’t euthanasia in the top 5 leading causes of death now, with doctors encouraging hundreds of people to end their lives instead of continuing treatment?
But yea, everything else for America and Candanavia is fairly accurate. I had a lot of hope for the Trucker Protest. I hope we see something positive with the uprising in Brazil, but I know it’s very unlikely.
At some point, The West will buckle … and it won’t matter if you’re in America, Canada, UK, France or Australia … when the global empire falls, it’s going to take everything with it.
How long before people wake up? Or will people still believe 5 years from now.
I predict some country in Europe will pull them soon, others will follow. When the US or the UK finally pulls all the drugs, there will be a massive backlash by Covidians, claiming the evil republicans are keeping essential vaccines away from people; along with some "my body my choice" bullshit. It will be well over 30%, maybe 40%.
I know that sounds illogical. I know that sounds impossible. All bets are off. This is where we are. This is the human race. God called in sick this century.
The world just keeps getting more retarded. It's not stopping .... it's accelerating! At this rate we'll be at Mike Judge Idiocracy levels in just under 2 years!
I mean, yea you’re always going to get people creating structures to try to put them ahead. That’s the nature of … everything. You see those structures forming and fighting with each other in nature. It’s kinda inevitable.
I can totally see where you’re coming from. It would be nice if we all joined small collectives that worked with each other .. but think about it … if one of those small collected started growing, certain people would rise to the top and try to move things gradually to benefit a smaller selectorate of supporters. (Animal Farm style)
I guess my concern is that small collectives wouldn’t scale to the sizes needed to be really efficient and give us so many of the benefits we have today (e.g. shooting communication machines into space).
You could make an argument, maybe we shouldn’t be in space and our technology is making us worse now. That’s valid, but it’s all a tradeoff. We live longer, and have all this great tech, but we’re getting more health problems and our tech is being used to control people. Everything is a tradeoff… what side humanity should be on is subjective to you values.
