@itsfoss To replace Windows. Not only at home, but also at work.
We have already moved to Linux Mint Cinnamon on most work stations.
Only Windows machines left, are for those that works with specific soft, like Unreal Engine etc.

From now on any new laptop, will be "made for linux" only.
Computers that can't have its uefi/bios/firmware upgraded regardless of operating system, will no longer be something for us.

(Apple products might still be used by a few.)

@itsfoss I can't find a single new thingy. I either done it my self before, or I just missed it...

But that said, it's as stable as ever!

Yes, Virtualbox is easy to use. However, it's slow.

Qemu with Virtual Machine Manager, does the same thing, but better.

@itsfoss Depends on how it's unskippable.
If they "burn in" ads in creators movies, it's outside current agreement and they will most likely get the EU on their arses..

@itsfoss Linux mint Cinnamon with 6.8 kernel. Tried a few "gaming distros" non of 'em did any special.

@itsfoss I use my Pi5 all the time, and with a nvme ssd. It boots to desktop faster than my monitor manages to turn on... So around 2sec boot. =D

@itsfoss the "left alt + numpad -ascii" thing from windows. (Only Thing I miss from win)

@itsfoss it's not for making or editing pdf, but Firefox 124 has some new neat features for pdf. Check it out!
