I’m making a new religion that turns libraries into religious institutions and our most holy practice is going to the library and reading books. On the weekend we all get together and read silently together at the library. Our holy leaders are our librarians as they are guides to knowledge.

This way it makes it significantly harder to defund libraries. 😈

The fediverse is absolutely ablaze with antisemitism today and it’s kinda killing me. You people are fucking foul.

@dansup@mastodon.social @pixelfed@mastodon.social it should be stated here that each country has specific laws and requirements for administrators to best deal with this content. In the US, there is a duty to preserve for at least 90 days on a remote server that is essentially treated like toxic waste that only you have access to. The legal requirements depends on each jurisdiction but very few on the fediverse seem to know what their laws are on that end

With talks of bridges right now I think it’s worth noting that if you don’t have nostr relays blocked right now, you really should consider it. It’s crypto nazi hell. It’s a software built atop of crypto, and is used by freeze peachers as it is as a protocol inherently based on block evasion. There are lists of currently maintained relays that are publicly available. #fediblock
