@aral What if people on threads realize that they can continue having conversations with the same folks but from a platform that doesn't have targeted promotions, ads, or whatever they came up with there? I think having this option is pretty nice, as well as being able to follow certain accounts on threads. Scraping data from the fedi is already possible, you don't need a protocol integration for that.
