Latest #RetroComputing auction lot arrived follow the 🧵for more information (although I’m sure many already know what this is)

This time we swing to the other side of the playground with a Commodore 64. Some damaged has happened - but seemingly not to the main computer - which is definitely the best result. A couple of the tape boxes have broken and the tape drive is a little rattely

There’s also a few magazines two Commodore Users, a ZZap 64 and a Commodore Horizons. Two leaflets also stand-out mainly for the By Royal Appointment stamps proudly displayed at the bottom

Now the toastrack is looking like it works well it’s time to pay attention to the outside. This is already the best looking Spectrum I’ve ever owned, scratch free case and solid, bright paint on the lettering, but let’s remove the stickers that are on it. It looks like there’s an auction sticker and some original owner stickers showing the alternate cursor key locations. The stickers come off fairly well, then I use some iso to remove residue #RetroComputing
