I miss when normalfags didn't use the internet. In Japan it's different, but in the west, people weren't even aware that the drawings existed until the internet was corporatized and Steve Jobs destroyed it forever with the iPhone. You can see how there is no outrage over more niche drawings that they are not aware of.
Well, yeah, normalfags are objectively pretty broken people (good article, by the way: https://koshka.love/autism/neurotypical-disorder.html ), just look at... everything about them. And I call them normalfags, because ironically, normalfags have ruined the term normie. But they will never ruin normalfag, because they will never say fag, because they're normalfags and therefore don't say words that the TV told them are bad. So, the term is safe from their corrupting influence.
Watch them remove Nidoran Male and change Nidoran Female to Nidoran Womyn. And add hundreds of Nidoran Trans variations. Also, just wait a generation or two and they'll make the pokemon ugly too, because they ruined the female characters, but there are still some pokemon designs that people may still want to fap to (a cat is fine too), and that would be getting some enjoyment out of the franchise, and they can't have that.
Anyway, I don't think these games are even worth pirating. Even if they were already loaded into a Nintendo Switch right in front of me, even that would be too much work and not worth my time. I'd rather just watch videos making fun of the game, I actually do enjoy that a lot. So, in a way, I'd rather have them make the games even worse, instead of mediocre, because then at least the games are more fun to shit on. Though if that happens, then the franchise really is dead, and that is very sad. It's already bordering on irreparable, though. https://social.076.moe/url/122292
Apparently they didn't even make it, they outsourced it. And the funny thing is, it still looks more fun than their main and original games, just because they are copies of better games. And those better games, Diamond and Pearl themselves, were already bad games (not Platinum, that's good).
More models are supported now. I know you hoard them a bit, so time to buy before people find out! And the W541 is mentioned in the latest release too ( https://libreboot.org/news/libreboot20221214.html ), even though it's not there. So, apparently now you can Libreboot ThinkPads with i7s, and the T440p supports 16 GB of RAM, and the W541 supports 32 GB. Also, the X220 and X230 are now supported.
Not a whole lot of information out yet, though. Seems like nobody knows. Sshhh, it's a secret.
Well, I do think switching to Odysee was still worth it for me. The comments are better than on YouTube. And I can still watch YouTube, even if I don't tend to comment, and Invidious and mpv help. I just completely prioritize the one that has mostly let me do whatever I want. Really, if people used more than one thing, that would already be an improvement since that would be actual competition and not two totally separate camps that never interact.
That term reminds me of the George Carlin quote:
"I don't have pet peeves, I have major psychotic fucking hatreds."
Because that is exactly how I feel about it. Pretty sure I have hated it from the moment I first heard it, on pure instinct, and only figured out why afterwards. https://social.076.moe/url/113156
Well, it definitely adds to the clusterfuck when systems include a billion poorly-designed languages that just happened to find one niche, that are all incompatible with each other, most of which break on updates. And of course, that are not extensible, so they eventually get replaced as soon as someone has a single new idea for a language that happens to interest people. And those languages produce programs that are also very much like them. Need a new feature? Rewrite. Also, because of the lack of extensibility, programs better have every feature conceivable by a human just in case someone needs it, so you end up with a billion things that you don't need, written like shit, and still end up not having everything that you do, and adding them yourself would be a nightmare. Meanwhile, "extensible" programs are really not all that extensible, and use slow-ass scripting languages. Really, they are part of the mess. They are almost almost at the bottom of the shit pyramid. In a way the hardware is, though software and hardware kinda influence each other to be bad.

Good video about it. Anyway, it's also used by completely psychopaths. It would be good for containment, but Discord has infected the entire internet with cancer, so it doesn't really work for that either.
This is just step 1 of some plan, I guarantee it. They always come for the porn first to set some precedent because people are too cowardly to defend it.
Well, C doesn't really solve the problem considering that most programs are written in C (or maybe a little less than C++, I don't even know) and almost all of them have some major issue, and don't run nearly as well as they should. And that is pretty much any program that does not run in a terminal emulator, and even the terminal emulators are not all that fast. Why does xterm take a visible moment to open? How is that even possible?
How is it still almost impossible to have a GUI program that runs smoothly? Not to speak of UI design, it hasn't improved at all, it even moved backwards. The only programs that have the performance that you would expect and programs that just remove everything, to the point that people have developed an antidesign mindset, you see less user interface design than you saw on fucking DOS.
Like, I use programs like that, with no UI at all, because they are the only ones that work, or are just the best for me for some extensibility purpose or some feature, or they just perform so much better than I can't justify using say, a GTK equivalent.
Still, I look at what I'm doing, and it's absurd, it makes no sense for these things to perform so poorly when graphical interfaces have existed for 50 years. And all this shit is written in C. And I don't think it would be better if it was written in x86 assembly or Brainfuck.
Really, the entire computing paradigm is flawed, it's all a huge disaster and pretty much everything is to blame. I would say that it's the biggest clusterfuck that humanity has ever produced, but can it really beat civilization itself? Or just itself, humanity has made itself the way that it is now. The monkey instincts are to blame too, but at some point people have to take the blame for choosing not to get that shit under control.
C: "We took ALGOL and made it worse."
C++/Java: "We took C and made it worse, and also called it object-oriented to be trendy and ruined the actual concept forever to the point of being disowned by its creator."
Rust: "We took C++ and made it worse."
Every other language that looks even slightly like C: "We took C and made it worse and also slow."
Meanwhile our operating systems are still basically 70s mainframes and glorified typewriters and calculators, that can't do graphics to save their lives and can't even display a graphical interface without a few seconds of loading, even though those are about as old as C and existed when the Bell Labs people were still editing text in fucking ed. Also, our hardware is designed like shit and to run nothing but shit.
Anyway, at least GNU is working on a Rust implementation, so the corporations won't TOTALLY monopolize it. So it's actually getting less bad, technically.
I have seen some videos here and there about programming in DOS. Must be pretty interesting since it's such a bare-bones OS compared to what came later. I actually set up DOSBox-X a while ago and played some PC-98 stuff on it. Incredible stuff, truly amazing how good it is. It is now my PC-98 emulator, and has also replaced original DOSBox. Apparently you can also run Windows on it, but I haven't tried that yet. The guy wants it to be kind of a universal emulator for old computers, right? Really ambitious but it already somehow looks very close to being that.
I'm pretty sure that in actual America, where the lawsuit happened (?), they didn't change anything at all. Anyway, here is a fun thing about the history of Internet Explorer, because I like shilling websites that I found on Wiby and really liked: http://toastytech.com/evil/index.html
That's pretty good. Emulation is actually kinda better than running games natively, eliminates a lot of the concerns about a game possibly also being spyware. Also makes the game a lot more portable, it just immediately runs on most OSs and also most consoles.
