Right, Linux folks and Linux hardware vendors, time to move things away from HDMI and towards DisplayPort.

It’s bloody 2024, think we can agree on either wget or curl being installed by default on every freaking operating system by now so shell scripts can have a guaranteed way of carrying out http requests?
I mean it’s been about 35 years. I think it’s about time.
Starting today, I'm going to rate all #Linux games. Let us begin with SuperTux which is a cross-platform game. It offers lots of content with fast-paced levels, Tux as cute characters, power-ups, and more.
PERSONAL RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5

TIL: #Wayland breaks most screen readers, as they are not not intended by design. (they need to interact with other apps)
Wayland is now the default in pretty much all gnome distros.
Orca has workarounds, but they are not merged and not fully working. (And a blind user can't built it without a working screen reader)
I'm not entirely sure if I got this correct, but it seems to me like the #Linux community once again booted the #blind.

It's been a long time since I had #coreboot 'd a laptop! Thanks to the awesome
folks from the Skulls project, I was able to free my #thinkpad X230 BIOS, replacing the
network card and eventually having a functional system for #trisquellinux , including working WiFi!
A #raspberrypi running #Alpine #Linux was used for the flashing of the two memory chips.
Feels good to have a fully #libre machine!
Heads up: if you were playing with Kitten¹ on macOS, you might have noticed that some of the commands were exiting with a truncated header.
This has now been fixed and all commands should look and work exactly the same on macOS as they do on Linux.
