Looks like I’m going to have to part with my beloved cube PC.

It’s a gorgeous fanless/silent machine that just screams. Best computer I’ve owned but I’m back to daily driving a Mac for dev and I’d rather it went to someone who’d use it every day instead of having it gather dust here.

Based on the HSE web site, it look like Ireland will finally allow anyone who wants one to get a COVID vaccine.

Afaik, #Ireland hasn’t announced its plan yet but if it’s anything like before it’ll mirror this but *WITHOUT* the ability to buy a booster shot if you’re not eligible for the free shot.

Meanwhile, they’ve had to destroy €86.5 million worth of unused vaccines.

I’d say the Irish government is run by clowns but clowns don’t mass disable and kill people due to incompetence.

Just called the only pharmacy in our town that’s offering COVID vaccines and confirmed that there’s basically no way to get one in Ireland right now unless you’re pregnant or immunocompromised.

Because we all know only those folks can get long COVID.

What’s amazing is that this isn’t all over the news. There seems to be no outcry about it. I guess folks are pretty chill about becoming long-term disabled here. God’s will and all that…
