@nixCraft this bit me too! 😫 it was the last nail in the "don't build a future with Google" coffin. i'm moving everything i can anywhere else that doesn't fall out from under me like quicksand.

(Random “'kittens.small-web.org' does not have any RR of the requested type” and SERVFAIL errors. Calls reportedly routed from stub at 127.0.0.53 → my router. DNS on router set to 1.1.1.1 & 1.0.0.1)
DNS resolvers being forced through #judicialabuse to block domain names and not resolve them because our #corporateoverlords get their knickers in a twist.
This sets a dangerous precedent towards corporate #censorship. Say bye to the little #netneutrality that's left.
I recently implemented DNS-level ad and tracker blocking on my home network and got a notification from Comcast saying some of my services might be affected by a "misconfiguration" of my non-Xfinity equipment. They even offered to send out a tech. I told them no.
The only services that aren't working on my network so far are their trackers are and ad partnerships.
I'm trying out NextDNS but I’m open to other recommendations if anyone has them.
During #FOSDEM diva.exchange will present 3 presentations: - #dns for #i2p; - #javascript for #privacy-protect #p2p app; - #I2P: Major changes to the peer-to-peer network.
