@che5hire The problem is that any excuses falls flat when the games sells double digit millions at each main entries and considering this is the world's most profitable franchise
It stopping to support all Pokemon in each games was an inevitability, but it truly came at the worst possible time
-The game genuinely looks like they ported the 3DS engine. Even the latest ones, some screenshots makes it looks like they're working on a 3DS scale, which is weird
-They were still using stiff Gameboy like character animations (that they finally fixed in the latest one I believe)
-They said that cutting Pokémon is because they're trying to improve animation, but then it didn't and Pokemon Stadium on the N64 looked way better animation wise
-etc
It's just getting really freaking weird. Ultimately my current issue with it is that it seems like a JRPG that's ashamed to be one. Online battling is boring as fuck, there's still practically nothing interesting to do post game, game is easy as christ and ultimately is makes the premise completely pointless. You have a game with "infinite" customisable party members and oddly deep stats system that has a lot of them and.... there's nothing to do with them
Not even some sort of mystery dungeon mode based on levels to level up, catch, find items and risk/reward your way to the end to get points to exchange. The game has no real quests and other WRPG/JRPGs mechanism and etc
There's nothing interesting to do in the games
