I dont know if it was essential or not but removing the component got it to work again. Nevertheless I'm met with a far bigger issue. There is an additional point that needs to be bridged (h-sync & v-sync) and while the complex method of finding the point is documented where exactly this point is, unfourtonately, is not. This means unless I gain a bunch of super useful tech knowledge out of nowhere I'm basically stuck with a glorified minature mono speaker. Fourtonately I have a solution though its a bit convoluted. His username is a really unique one and by searching it on yandex it yields a ton of sites he is signed up for. I found what may be a reddit account so I reached out to it. There was a contact form on an old shop he ran but unfourtonately the page was not archived or cached so unless I find another lead out of nowhere I'm basically fucked. This is also because the forums seem to state the last time he was active (aside from the possible reddit lead) was 2-3 years ago. One page stated he was born around the 70s so there may be a good chance he's unfourtonately dead...Lets just hope thats the least likely scenario. If anyone a super tech genius and knows how to decipher the article I posted a bit ago lmk...I'd love some help.
