i was speaking on seriousbusiness matters with @syzygy today regarding system build cache mechanics.
it was determine each time i build nixos(btw) system and push out config it takes up to ~3gb of storage for build artifacts to be pushed to target host.
there was a cough on the line. which to me felt like acknowledgement of said storage bloat. i now feel that i am doing something wrong with this nix stuff and it's time to do something about it.
okay, well i did something about it. build binary cache endpoint on darknet with local routing. so wherever i go vm with binary cache endpoint is hot like hot pockets big and bold! 💪
thank you mr. syzygy (fix your name) for your scientific expertise and peer input. the science continues.
may your hoof stay warm when you update system!
