   The only real answer to save humanity from the unfolding horrors would be to create a whole parallel society consisting entirely of pre-internet technology. Runaway AI and algorithms will induce a total mental collapse in all of humanity plugged into the internet. To retain our humanity the only option will be to unplug ourselves and build free societies. Nobody really wants to do that because of how much work and personal sacrifice is necessary, but I can't see any way around it. Artificially induced brainrot is a real phenomenon.
