@nixCraft I've been doing the same. It's my 3rd or 4th attempt. It's working now.
@nixCraft For throwaway scripts that fit into one file, python is fine. For everything more serious, Rust is the best choice. I learned it in 2018 and remember at least three projects where I started with python thinking it would be simpler and in the end rewriting in Rust, making everything MUCH easier in the long run. There are such amazing learning resources for rust freely available, you just have to be curious and patient. It's really worth it!
