     I had this problem and thought it was a skill issue on my part, now I think its bug in develop. You can fix by changing anything in config, restart pleroma, change back and restart. That fixed for me.

     Cool mrf settings are busted in adminfe so I can't block a spam instance.

     cc @hj how can I block an instance with the simple mrf when adminfe doesn't give me the option?
     
     Where is this stored in the database so I can just add it myself?
