     @anonymous oh yeah agree, I don't think there's any mystery manga/anime that could beat it. There's also the significance of it in the Goth culture.

     @MK2boogaloo Well it is second I think in overall runtime. The Japs took it way too far though. Conan should at most be 100 episodes.

     Monster was good for this exact reason.

     @anonymous I haven't seen the anime but I read the manga, apart from anti-German propaganda it was quite good. Have you watched Legend of the Galactic Heroes?

     @MK2boogaloo Monster was pretty heavy on the kraut bashing but it gets a pass for having a crazy as fuck storyline.

     I have LotGH saved and been meaning to watch it, but if I am remembering correct the first episode is a goddamned snorefest and I can never make it past.
