To women, there’s this showmanship she has to uphold as a representative of the family, diplomacy to do with the other parents, going on parade in the neighborhood just by driving down the street.
It’s complete nonsense to us but women are tuned into that weird wavelength of sociality, it adds this invisible, odorless layer to everything they do and gives them all sorts of stress and panic over the silliest things.
