Hock Tan is one of the greediest SOBs on the planet, but for some reason mostly stays under the radar on the list of oligarchs to hate.
The Broadcom way is to buy an entrenched tech company, jack the price up but gut staff to a skeleton crew. If you want real support for anything, you get reamed in the wallet.
If you're a small customer they don't care if you leave. Their goal is to milk big orgs with IT departments that are too slow and inept to migrate off.
