   The competency crisis pictured in all its glory, several massive airliners having to ground dozens of planes due to obviously identifiable manufacturing errors that could have led to catastrophic consequences and did lead to a mid-air blow out of a passenger liner. This is the same model of 737 that was grounded worldwide just a few years ago for just randomly falling out of the sky repeatedly and killing hundreds of people.

     @Shadowman311 On the road RN so I don't have my super archive, but I should have posted the old greentext about the multi-generational boeing guys being fired.

     Also, a few months back Boeing fired a ton of their higher paid engineers right before they were due to retire.

     Oh, and there was that tweet about how the company got rid of an old russian guy with tons of aerospace exp. to replace him with a sheboon. The negress had "earned" some gay humanities degree dressed up as a technical aero engineering one (cough, cough embry/und faggots)

     @Paultron @MeBigbrain @Shadowman311 I recall boeing hating trump because he got them to commit to taking on the cost of all the KC46 development after it didn't meet the timeline (or something to that effect)

     Twisted their arm in order to get the AF1 deal.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @Shadowman311 They're also in a death spiral where they don't have the money and social currency to hire competent mechanics, and the mechanics they currently have are grossly out of their depths. They offered to hire me for... 19 dollars an hour, full time with awful benefits... in Seattle. Needless to say, not a single soul was moved by their pitch that day.

     @veff @Shadowman311 Holy hell. They really are that retarded. The other day someone was telling me about how this kid he knows went up there (I think seattle? Maybe diff metro) and ended up as midlevel management within a couple years at spirit. It's cool being upwardly mobile and all, but.....that fast means there are a lot of empty seats

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @Shadowman311 It didn't help when Alaskan came to hire and offered 10k just to sign up. If a guy's looking at the PNW for work, there's not really a reason to work for Boeing, unless there's a job somewhere else that requires requisite experience.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @MeBigbrain @Shadowman311 do pilots prefer Boeing? Because sitting in the ass end I gotta say the euro planes are head and shoulders above, most of the time. 787-7 vs A350 is the last matchup I have booked up but Im not holding my breath for the home team
