     @WashedOutGundamPilot @Senator_Armstrong Japanese people don't seem to like the anime very much, because it was going for a more "realistic" style with rotoscoping. The director also seemed to be upset that Bocchi the Rock was outselling it in terms of bluray sales

     Never played skyrim

     @LordMordred @WashedOutGundamPilot @Senator_Armstrong Chainsaw Man is a very successful manga, but people don't seem to like the anime adaption as much.
     Bocchi was a manga, but people seem to prefer the anime adaption. Probably due to how much work went into the animation I think
     They just seem to prefer less realistic and more exaggerated animation.

     @Arkana @LordMordred @Senator_Armstrong @WashedOutGundamPilot I know a lot of them also felt like the director was playing up the movie reference thing too much, basically they viewed it as anime trying to be Hollywood and not just a manga that like making movie references

     i haven't watch but like a few movies and or tv shows since the 80s shit i watched on bootleg vhs growing up that my mom made. i still have bootleg vhs of movies with 80s commercials in them.
