     @sargoysmuck @sapphire @RupertvonRipp THey’ve been doing that for…..well as far back as I can recall, really. Seems like every time I go to the IFA for the last 5 years someone’s telling me the market’s gonna go crazy because of a big cull.

     Now for sure we’ve been seeing more and more over the last 3 years, but I’m not as fast to cry chinese espionage as I cam incompetent niggardry

     The food quality probably HAS gone down since 2020, just like quality’s slipped everywhere else. But that’s not what these apparent amateurs seem to get

     A hell of a lot cheaper than now. Everyone's thinking of now vs a year or two ago... I could get what costs 200 now for like 50 bucks back then.
     
     I don't make 4x what I made in 2010.

     @RupertvonRipp @sargoysmuck @sapphire My grocery costs for the same things used to be pretty consistent, around $70 max. Now I’m seeing $90 for shittier brands and lower quantities of the pricier stuff. I don’t know how people are surviving without screaming
