@Jonny @Mummabear @Zennblack @creamqueen @meso @raintrees yeah. I put vitamin C and D on the list earlier. Pretty much all the stuff that ACTUALLY worked for covid will help some here. But also older things that people have forgotten about (because it's easier and more convenient to eat a fist full of new commercial otc pills than make the hot water pan tent) will help a lot too.
That conventional stuff does work, but not always. It bears noting that the FDA pulled most of the cold pills off the shelves this winter (just in time for cold season!!!) because recent studies showed that phenylalanine does not work. People need extra help this winter because of that, and the backlash from covid. Nobody wants to go to the doctor any more.
Some of the old stuff works too, but it's more of a pain in the butt, time consuming, and doesn't work for the reasons that our grandparents thought it worked. When you're seriously hurting, you'll try anything once (hence the vaccination rate). Better to try something less invasive first, imho, I'm a big fan of that.
