     @arstechnica Theory popped up while reading that vacuum of space Can hinder the packing of Drogue chutes, having their surfaces adhere where they cannot catch atmospheric gases well, as the gases keeping fabric folds apart are no longer there to allow unfolding.

     Maybe compressed air is a standard on a space chute? Don’t know.
