Attaching "Color" to any European (Western or not) ethnicity opens the door to a host vulnerabilities.
The implication is there is a class of people (national ethnicity) and a subclass of that people (Color). This opens the door to internal ethnic divide, most likely for no good reason (various historical phenotypes within the same ethnicity). Another issue is who, what, and how is the subclass assessed, and by what authority.
Another implication is there is a class of people above all national ethnicities (Global Color), which connects to other subclasses (Color, of national ethnicities). This implies a transnational identity (based on Color) that usurps national ethnicity (based on historicity, language, culture, locality, tradition, religion) leaving open the door for the devaluation and diminishing of national, local ethnicities.
One counter argument is uniting different regions under one authority in the process of nation- or empire building. But such an amalgamation of local ethnicities is either organic, due to shared values, languages, culture, etc., or demands a level of homogenization, where local ethnicity is trimmed for national unity.
There is neither need nor justification for such a trimming of European ethnicities in order to conform to [Color] American identities. A country, and civilization, quite different to the local and historical Europe that lies currently buried under layers of Americanization (Judaization).
